ABOUT JANE
Jane Herstine Friesen has been a teacher, copy editor, and has had devotionals and numerous articles published as a free-lance writer. She served with her husband, Jake, with Mennonite Central Committee in community development in an impoverished rural area in Mississippi during the Civil Rights movement of the sixties. She has led women’s Bible studies, mentored women, and worked in various capacities in churches and educational institutions in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Kansas, Washington, Germany, and Arizona.
​Jane's hobbies include reading and traveling with her husband to visit their children and grandchildren, She enjoyed making a country sampler quilt by hand. She grows roses and camellias where they live in Hesston, Kansas. They belong to Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton, Kansas.
